This page is specifically for synthesizers made in low numbers or ones that have provenance.

This does not necessarily mean that these items are particularly expensive. It does however mean they're only available to established clientelle.

You could call it "the vault" or "the shop keepers specials" but ultimately, it's synths you can look at as true collectible assets.

For perspective, we consider "low number" anything made in the hundreds.
We consider any signature or varifiable use as provenance.

Prophet 5 Rev 1 - Serial #14, signed by Dave Smith. Incredible condition all things considered. Working as well. With Dave Smith no longer being with us, coupled with his importance to music and therefor future larger established provenance, the firm price for this synthesizers is $125,000 by wire. 182 Rev 1 Prophet 5's exist, less when considering some have been destroyed.

Custom Modular Oberheim 8 Voice. Built by Casey Young, used on YES's 91205, Rocky IV w/ Vince DiCola, and has performed in the studio and stage is Gary Wright among many other notable sessions. Includes 8 SEM's and even more modules. $350,000.
