We like to say "the gear finds us" because it's quite true! Rosen Sound is the top destination not only to purchase gear from, but to sell gear to and consign with. Our consignors trust us to get them the best deal possible and ensure gear that may be sentimental finds a great new home. Please note that we require all equipment in our inventory to be on premise in our Burbank location, so please do not message us asking to list your synth and to let you know if anyones interested. We have learned that other sellers in the US and EU are operating this way, and frankly we find that less than honest.

Our full list of terms can be found at our rates & terms page. The items we have for sale here are purchasable online unless they are over $15,000 in value, in which case we require wire payment for first time buyers. We accept credit cards from clients with prior spend history.

All items we sell, unless stated in their listing, are restored-to-order. This means there is a lead time (which is stated in the listing) post payment. In some cases, we are happy to accept a deposit and accept an agreed upon amount to be paid on completion. Please be sure to find this info in the relevant item page you are considering.

Please note all sales are final. There is no cool-off period.

Yes, we are experienced in shipping synths world wide. If you are in the continental US, we offer free shipping via air cargo when possible. We will discuss this with you after purchase. If you have a cargo station near you but ask for delivery to your door, you will have to pay for that. However, we get great shipping rates we will pass on to you.

Often times, you might actually discover we were your more affordable option. Our pricing factors in the cost of procurement (we pay fair prices), the typical cost of restoration and parts, a healthy markup, and the fact that we will guarantee your synth for as long as you own it. No other dealer that we are aware of can confidently pack that much value into their inventory. For these reasons, you will find that our prices vary from cheaper than marketplaces, same as marketplace, or with an added premium. We add a premium to certain machines we sell, such as the Oberheim FVS, Rhodes Chroma, Minimoogs, and other synths that we feel fee add a noticeable difference to compared to your run of the mill reverb listing.

Additionally, we often will price our synths lower than you'd expect, because we feel they're overpriced on the marketplaces.
